![]() Razer upgraded its already amazing Kishi controller with the Razer Kishi V2, taking what it learned over the years and fan feedback into account to design a product that felt much better to use and hold. Plus, the USB-C pass-through port can only be used for charging, so there's no way to plug in some headphones unless your phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack. Notably, you won't be able to use the Kishi to play games on your computer. While there aren't many gripes with the Kishi, Razer did miss the mark in several places. There's even a pass-through USB-C port available if you start running out of juice. Perhaps the best part is that you'll never have to charge the Kishi as it plugs right into your smartphone. With cloud gaming becoming increasingly popular, you'll be happy to know that the Kishi is one of the recommended controllers to use with NVIDIA's GeForce NOW streaming service. In our review of the Razer Kishi, we found that the Kishi hits just about every mark you could want in a game controller for Android. With the Razer Kishi, you can turn just about any smartphone into a Nintendo Switch, and you don't have to worry about Bluetooth connectivity slowing you down. You shouldn't have to deal with a third-party plastic clip, though, if you want to play your phone like a real controller. Call of Duty and Fortnite are great examples, for starters. Many game developers took over the Play Store with phones that feature better specs than many computers. Rounding it off with 20 hours of battery life, and it's hard to pass up the MG-X Pro.Įxternal USB-C port only for pass-through charging This also allows players to use with with their phones cases, so even though it already had a secure hold, there's that extra peace of mind with added protection. With its Bluetooth connection, the MG-X Pro can also support a wider variety of phones, including foldables like the Galaxy Z Fold 3. This all makes for a much more comfortable hold and keeps your hands from cramping after long periods of use. In our review we noted that its weight distribution felt nice, keeping it from being too heavy in one area like other competitors on the market, and its face button layout gave the buttons room to breathe instead of being smushed together. Because why fix what isn't broken? That design's been proved to work, and it works wonderfully with the Nacon MG-X Pro. Nacon created a force to be reckoned with in the MG-X Pro mobile controller, taking the best aspects of other controllers on the market and combining it with the ergonomic grips of an Xbox or PlayStation console controller. It should also work on Android versions 7 and higher.Bluetooth connection not as good as USB-C ![]() It should work on most bluetooth gamepads made for mobile, if not all. This app has only been tested on a few gamepads and Android versions 8(Oreo) and 9(Pie). This app is setup as an accessibility service that reads buttons presses and can inject touch events, so the service must be running to work. It wasn't easy, but I did get the analog sticks to work too, but there are some problems especially if you have Android 7 (Nougat). So I made this app to allow me to change those missing buttons into taps on the screen. In Ark Survival Evolved, the D-pad doesn't work, but the rest of the buttons do. For example: in Rules of Survival, I can use all buttons except the two triggers, which you really need to work to play the game. Some games are simply not designed with to use them at all, but I was playing games that should work with them, just some buttons wouldn't work. Odo Gamepad Mapper was created because I could not get my gamepads to work with android games. You just need to start the game and take the screenshot while on the screen you will be using the controller for. Most devices have an easy way to take screenshots. ![]() Next, you add the new game and then, start setting the buttons. To get started you need a screenshot of the game you want to map the controller for, first. No need to start a game "within" this app Automatically starts on boot, if it was enabled on last use Free with only one banner ad on the config screen
